The Chat page is where you ask anything about your projects — costs, RFIs, submittals, vendors, schedules — and get answers grounded in your own data.

Asking questions

Type a question, or start from one of the suggested prompts (vendor risk, submittal slippage, open punch items by trade, change-event exposure, budget lines, RFI bottlenecks). Answers stream in live, with a status line showing what the assistant is reading (“Reviewing submittals”, “Checking vendors”, …).
  • Pin documents with @ — type @ in the composer to attach a specific document to your question.
  • Pick a model — the Model selector offers the models your admin has enabled.
  • Project context — answers are scoped to your active project (sidebar → Change Project), or all projects.

Citations and grounding

Every claim in an answer is tied to its source:
  • Numbered citations appear inline, with cards under the answer — an email, a Slack message, a Procore record, a document, or a query over your data.
  • Document citations open the viewer at the exact page and line, with the cited region highlighted.
  • A grounding indicator under each answer shows how much of the response is verified against sources — “all claims grounded”, or a percentage when something couldn’t be verified.

Behind the answer

Click Behind the answer on any response to see exactly what ran: the queries the assistant executed over your project data and the rows they returned. Nothing is a black box.

Memory

When you tell the assistant something worth keeping — a preference, a fact about your business — it notes Remembered inline and uses it in future answers.

Chat history

The chat sidebar keeps every conversation, grouped by Pinned / Today / Yesterday / This week / Older. Pin, rename, or delete chats from each chat’s options menu; a live dot means an answer is still in progress.
